The position involves working with state-of-the-art computer and database technology in order to support our customers. You should be savvy with computers and the Internet, good with people, and good at writing and reading email. You need to be energetic, reliable, and trustworthy. Because this is a client facing position, you must have strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to take technical concepts or instructions and turn them into ideas a non-technical person can understand.
The Client Service position involves learning and using our software so you can provide technical support to our clients over the phone and/or by email. You will be part of a team that works with databases, HTML, installs and configures our software, and provides customer support and/or training via screen sharing or in-person, at our office or occasionally at the client’s location. You will answer “how to” questions for our clients either through email or telephone, as well as troubleshoot any reported errors. You must keep clear and accurate notes, so you can accurately explain how to perform a task to our clients and provide needed details if necessary. You will test our software and report problems for resolution. Depending on your aptitude you may be involved in our technical documentation, HTML, and website design.
- You must be good with computers and know Windows and Microsoft Office
- You should have a technical, marketing, business, or communications degree or equivalent experience and/or certifications
- You should have good verbal and written communication skills
- Database (SQL) experience is helpful
- HTML knowledge and graphic design skills are a plus
- Occasional travel is required
- Salary commensurate with experience
- Relocation expenses are not available for this position
- Must be a US Citizen or have work authorization
